So we have all been there before when we have been ruminating over something negative and its totally taken over our day and now well we're in a bad mood and the negative self talk just won't stop.
This type of negative thoughts can quickly take over and then, we loose our confidence, start to lack motivation and don't move beyond limiting beliefs. So why not change this by purposely and mindfully implementing a daily practice to empower and uplift ourselves instead.
Why positive daily affirmations work
Our brains plasticity are wired and fired by neural connections, which are affected by new stimuli and experiences.
The continued use of certain thoughts over time has been proven to create new neural pathways, connections and beliefs to those parts of the brain that produce the feel good hormones: serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin.
How to use them
So what is an area of your life you want to change? What negative thoughts have been on your mind? What do you want to attract more of?
Once your clear on what it is you want to focus on and improve create a list of affirmations around that 3-5 will be enough.
Write them down on paper, in your notes on your phone, on post-it notes and repeat them for 5 mins mins in your head or out loud every morning when you wake up, in the evening before you go bed and during the day or when you feel the negative thoughts creeping back in quickly replace them with positive.
